We were turned down as prospective parents for Blossom the blind dog. The people fostering us wouldn't let us even meet her because we don't have a fenced in yard. That's cool, we'll keep looking.

Funny about the yard requirements---we wouldn't have our dog if pound had asked for that. But they were glad to hear that we didn't plan to tie him out. Maybe that's what fosters are assuming: no yard=chained dog. Instead of happy indoor dog who goes on lots of walks, blind or not. Good luck looking, I'm sure there are many dogs who need you all.
